How much will it cost to renovate my bathroom?
This all depends on the size and scope of your project. Some smaller renovations can be as low as a few thousand, higher-end full remodels can easily be over $25,000 (Incl. GST). When we provide a free quote, our team will accurately be able to give you a figure to base your budget on before our final detailed price. To give you an idea, in the past 24 months we’ve done around 70 bathrooms and en-suite renovations and the average cost of these projects was between $18,500 and $27,000  (Incl. GST). Keep in mind these prices cover the entirety of the project, from labour, building materials and cleaning.
What affects the price of my quote?
The price of your quote will be influenced the most by these 3 things.
1.Ease of Work
This is something that our clients sometimes underestimate, particularly if they aren’t familiar with the industry. Ease of access to the project can affect the price significantly. Will we need to get the materials upstairs? Do we have driveway access? If in a highrise or apartment building, do we have access to the lift? Is the space old, new, well lit? These are all things our team will take into account when providing you with an accurate quote.
2. Materials Chosen
This is by far the biggest factor for quote price. Fittings, tilings, paint and other accessories can fluctuate the price greatly. Again, this depends on the choices you make. Do you want high-end tiles, or will you opt for a more affordable option? Does your space call for certain accessories, like custom lighting or taps? It’s all up to you! Remember our team is there to help. We have access to wholesale discounts so will always try to get you the best deal on the materials you go for.Â
3. Custom or Pre-built Vanity
Most bathrooms have a vanity. If you choose to have a custom-built vanity made just for your space, we can handle this, keeping in mind it may be more expensive. Our tradespeople can craft bespoke cabinets and vanities to your exact requirements. If you’re looking for a more affordable option, pre-built vanities are a great choice. With hundreds of pre-builts out there, you’ll be able to find one just right for your space!Â

How long will it take to renovate my bathroom?
This depends greatly on the scope and requirements of your project. If your renovation is just a small touch up or installation, it can be done in a heartbeat. Given that most of our projects are full renovations, it takes longer than that. Based on our last 70 projects in the past 2 years, you can expect your bathroom renovation to take between 3 and 4 weeks. One thing to consider—if your project needs custom materials to be ordered from interstate or overseas, this can affect the completion time!Â
Will a renovated bathroom or laundry add more value to my home?
Absolutely. Our tradesmanship is of the highest quality and results in exceptional bathroom renovations that impress future buyers and renters. Investing in bathroom renovations has been shown to increase home value, with many renovations instantly returning on investment. We often renovate bathrooms in homes that people are planning to sell and they become a selling point for estate agents!
Can I renovate my bathroom, laundry or shower myself?Â
That is totally up to you. If you feel you have the knowledge, expertise and experience to do so, go for it! If you are not a professional tradesperson however, we strongly advise against it. We’ve been doing renovations for close to two decades and although we are industry leaders, we still learn little things every day! There are thousands of hidden factors that make a bathroom renovation go smoothly, and we’ve spent 18 years learning them!

What is your process when renovating my bathroom?Â
Depending on your project, our services include the following:
Design and planning
The design and planning stage can take some time, and it depends on your particular project. Some people want to keep the current bathroom layout intact, while others wish to rearrange the shower or bathtub position. Whichever way you will decide to go, we will provide you with an affordable solution based on our experience to keep your bathroom functional without blowing your budget. The design and planning stage also includes item selection for your new bathroom (taps, vanity, showerhead and so on). We can go to the showroom together so you can select all the required items.
Strip Out
Almost 100% of our new bathroom renovation projects start with a complete strip out first. We have to make sure no timber studs are water damaged behind the walls. The strip out process usually takes 1-2 days.
Electrical and plumbing rough-in stage
Electricians and plumbers will begin their rough-in of the plumbing points in the new bathroom and the wiring for the electrical work.
Tilling bed installation
Tilling bed is a cement slab that has to be installed before tilling, and it has to be completely dry before waterproofing.Â
Sheeting
Sheeting bathroom walls and ceiling.
Waterproofing
As per Australian Standard 3740 – 2004. Waterproofing is a process of applying a polyurethane membrane to a floor area, 100 mm on the walls. Also, an acrylic layer goes onto shower walls. Waterproofing, as you can imagine, is one of the most critical parts of a bathroom renovation. Correctly done waterproofing ensures a tight water seal for years to come and no leaking showers!Â
Tilling
Proper tilling requires precise preparation. Setting out the tiles will ensure tiles are cut where they must be through the room. We usually recommend our customers to choose the “tiles to the ceiling option” as it looks great and gives your new bathroom that luxury look. However, it will cost you a bit extra, and it’s up to you whether to take our advice on board or not. We can show you some pictures and videos so you can decide.
Painting
The painter will arrive to paint the required areas (ceiling, doors, trims, etc.)
Plumbing
The plumber will install all selected items, including (new toilet suite, taps, bathtub, basin tapware, etc.)
Electrical fit off
The electrician will install light fittings, switches, fans, LED lights and strips, etc.
Additional Accessories + Shower Screen + Mirror
At this stage, we will install all accessories you’ve selected (robe hooks, hand towel rail, etc.) plus a shower screen and a new mirror or mirror cabinet.
Cleaning
A professional cleaner will arrive to clean up your new beautiful bathroom.
